Mrs. Ida Brandon
HOCKERVILLE. Okla. - Mrs. Ida
Emily Brandon, 74 years old, of
Hockerville, died Friday morn-
ing, in Baxter Memorial hospital
in Baxter Springs, Kan., where
she was admitted as a patient
Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Brandon was born January
19, 1889, in Galena, Kan. She
had lived in Hockerville 42 years
and was a member of the Assem-
bly of God church.
Surviving are her husband Oscar
L. Brandon; one son, Lewis
Brandon, of Hockerville; four
daughters, Mrs. Lula Clogston and
Mrs. Leola Clogston, both of Hock-
erville, Mrs. Adeline Bryant of
Hoisington, Kan., and Mrs. Eula
Rohrer of Yellville, Ark.; three
half brothers, Elmer Walton of
Cardin, Arkle Walton and Clyde
Walton, both of Galena; a half
sister, Mrs. Elzada McGinnis,
Baxter Springs route 2; 17 grand-
children, 22 great-grandchildren
and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon in Hockerville
Baptist church, with the Rev.
Charles Wren officiating.
Burial will be in the Baxter Springs
cemetery under direction of Hunter
funeral home of Picher.
Pallbearers will be Lee Simpson,
Don Gilbert, Cecil Haymaker, Jim
Thomas, Frank Gebhart and Willis
Laney.
