Clifford Brown, 86, of Belle passed away October 17, 2023 at home following a long illness.

He was a retired conductor and brakeman with Conrail Railroad, a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoyed watching old western movies.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Merle Sue Brown and parents, Clifford and Dorothy Brown.

Surviving are his sons, Timothy Brown (Kim) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Scott Brown of Charleston, Ray Brown (Nancy) of Belle, Robert Fitzpatrick of Belle; daughter, Lisa Summers of West Virginia; grandchildren, Drew and Dillon Brown, Jessica and Joey Summers and Nathan Hudson; and five great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kelly, Sarah and Leslie of Hospice Care for their compassionate care of Clifford.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, with Pastor Jonathan Eubank officiating. Interment will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to service time at the funeral home on Friday.
