JENNINGS - Funeral services for Wilson Louis LeJeune, 88, will be at 2
p.m. today, Feb. 17, from Immaculate Conception Church, The Rev. T.L.
Herlong will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under
direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be until
time of service. A rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Mr. LeJeune
died at 2 a.m. Friday in a Jennings care center. He was a native of
Acadia Parish and a retired farmer. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ola
Comeaux LeJeune; two sons, Lloydson "Lloyd" LeJeune (Fannie Hebert LeJeune) of Jennings and Elbee LeJeune of Estherwood; three daughters, Mrs. Tanzy Adam "T.A." (Verla Mae LeJeune) Stroderd of Sulphur,
Mrs. Edry (Yola ) Daigle of Jennings and Mrs. Burley J. (Hazel LeJeune) Noland of
Port Arthur, Texas; two brothers, Emile Jennis of Eunice and Step-Brother: Chester
LeJeune of Bryan, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Eva (LeJeune) Daigle of Jennings and
Step-Sister: Mrs. Walter (Addie) Spell of Jennings, 16 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
