Jimmy Shed, 71, of Needville, TX, was born on August 18, 1952, and passed away on October 14, 2023.

A visitation will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors, 1223 Sixth St., Rosenberg, TX 77471, on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 10:30 am to 1 pm with a religious service beginning at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Beatrice Shed; brothers, Hubert Shed, David Shed, Sr., and Curtis Shed Sr.; sister, Dee Koehler.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son, Joshua Shed; girlfriend (sweetheart), Beverly Krejci; sister, Geraldine Engelhardt; brother, Eugene Shed; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other loved ones.

Jimmy was an extremely hard-working man, who never knew how to take it easy. He worked for Nalco Chemical in Sugar Land, TX for over 20 years, as well as with Pennywise in Richmond, TX for over 10 years, and ultimately retired from there. He was full of life; he was a man that loved to fish, hunt, play cards, dance, and so much more. He had a unique laugh and a smile that would light up the entire room.
