Daisy Harmon
Unicoi- Daisy B. Harmon, age 88, of 528 Harmon Road, Unicoi, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Harmon was a Mitchell County, North Carolina, native but had lived most of her life in Unicoi County. She was the daughter of the late Avery and Myra Bennett Barnett. Mrs. Harmon attended Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Harmon; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include: Two-step sons: Robert Harmon and wife, Myra, Unicoi, and Vaughn Harmon and wife, Jean, Erwin; Six grandchildren; Nine great-grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Adventa Hospice Services and to Catherine Lewis for all of their help and care.
Funeral service for Mrs. Harmon will Be conducted on Tuesday, April 5, 2007, at 7:00 P.M. in the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Kim Casey will officiate. Music will be provided by the Shelton Family.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2007, at 10:00 A.M. in Roselawn Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Family minister and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 9:50 A.M. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and other times at the residence, 528 Harmon Road Unicoi.
