Florence King
November 7, 1935 — October 1, 2023
On October 1, 2023, our beautiful mother, Florence King, went to her Heavenly home. She was born November 7, 1935, to Silas and Edna Hatfield Cobb, Clairfield Tn.

Florence was married to Charles King for 68 years and they had eight children. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles, and their only son, Randy King.

Left to mourn her are her children, Janice, Luvada, Brenda, Phyllis, Gloria, Denice and Charlotte; sister Pauline Rowland; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Darlene Harrison.

Mom was really creative, she loved to sew and did lots of crafts and loved yard sales. When we were growing up she and dad took us on a lot of family vacations. It was a lot of work taking us all, but they really enjoyed it. We had a lot of fun and have such good memories. Mom and dad also loved to watch the soap operas. They would stop every day and take a break when it was time for The Young and Restless!!

She was always willing to help someone in need. What can you really say about someone as special as she was. We are going to miss her beautiful smile, her laughter, and the way her eyes would light up when she saw you. We love and miss you so very much, Mommy. You'll always be close to us, in our hearts.

Mom didn't want a service so just her family saw her and said goodbye…until we see you again!!
