On August 18, 2018, at 10:52a, this woman that I have spent nearly 49 years with, my one and only wife, departed this life to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She fought a great battle with pancreatic cancer, with which she was diagnosed, earlier this year. However, at that time, it had advanced too much to be contained.

On the day she departed, she waited until I entered her room at the care center where she was staying, before taking her last couple of breaths. She wasn't conscious, but I guess her spirit saw me and she decided to go on home.

Looking back, she did a lot for me from the time we met, and stuck with me through several turbulent times.

Her greatest contribution was being the driving force behind me getting saved. I was a tough case... But, her love for me, kept her needling me until I finally turned my life around and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

I don't know what the future holds for me, but, I know that she, will be there, looking in on me from time to time, when she takes time from enjoying her freedom from all the cares, and problems this world/life presents.

I love and miss you Cookie [snooks].

Her ashes are right here at home, in our house with me.
