Jean was the daughter of David A. Alamsha and Sherin Anna Shimmon. She married Peter Anthony Durich on 25 January 1951, in Cook Co., Illinois.

OBITUARY: "DURICH Jean Durlch, nee Alamsha, of Morton Grove, December 24. Wife of the late Peter; loving sister of Ann Aghakan, Josephine Doutnana and the late John Alamsha and Betty Scott Smith; sister-in-law of Leo Durich; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, 4 to 9 pm. at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave, Chicago, where services will be held Saturday, 11a m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery."
