Doris "Evelyn" Well, 90, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 5th, 2017.

She was born February 14, 1927, in Chester Township to Ernest and Bertha Betzing Bahr. Evelyn was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family and her church, Silver Ridge Community Church. She had many best friends throughout the years and was a support and confidant to many. She faithfully served others, always helping wherever needed. Her faithful prayers and service to others will be greatly missed. Her faith and Christian service is a legacy to her family.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Deryl and Doris Well of Highland Village, Texas, Russell and Linda Well of Chester, Ohio , Barbara and Scott Kerr of Mingo Junction, Ohio and Brian and Myra Well of Ripley West Virginia. Grandchildren, Amy and James Scott of Highland Village, Texas, Heather and Jeremy Johnston of Orange Park, Florida, Josh Kerr and Debbie Smith of Mingo Junction, Ohio, Leah Well and Jacob Elderidge of Williamsburg, Ohio, Elizabeth Well and Mariel Zaun of Columbus, Ohio, Ashton and Alyss Well of Chester, Ohio, Ashley Kerr of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Richard Well of Blue Springs, Missouri, Jacob Well and Cara Schafer of Toledo, Ohio, Brandon Well and Micayla Gibson of Huntington, West Virginia and Tyler Wolfe of Myrtle Beach , South Carolina. Great-Grandchildren, Jenna Johnston, Colby Scott, Luke Johnston, Matthew Davis, Kailey Scott, Jordan Davis, Judah Well and Camden Well. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Nancy Bahr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1971 by her husband, Floyd "Eugene" Well. She was also preceded by her son, Kenneth Well; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Val and Audith Well, siblings and spouses, Kyle and Elsie Bahr, Clayton and Virgene Bahr, Norman and Daylene Bahr, Mildred and Victor Lipsey, Victor and Wilma Bahr, Lila and Harold Winters, Henry and Eileen Bahr, Vernon Bahr and Rex Bentz. Her husband's siblings and spouses, Dale and Virginia Well, Hazel and Leslie Hawk, Vern and Audrey Well, Orville and Jenny Well, Emerson and Elizabeth Well, Donald Well, Elta Mae Well, Dayton and Evelyth Well and a host of nieces and nephews.

We are thankful for her wonderful caregivers, especially Venedia McCloud, Kathy Stone, Mary Pellegrino and Amanda Wells and the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Holzer Medical Center. We would also like to thank Kim Spencer for the excellent medical care she provided through the years.

According to Evelyn's wishes there will be no visitation hours.

Graveside services will be held at 4 P.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Silver Ridge Cemetery.
