"DEATH OF FRITS CARLSON.
Well Known Resident of Sutter City Succumbs To Attack of Spanish Influenza.
The following day after his wife was buried, Frits Carlson, a well known resident of Sutter City, died, having also been afflicted with the Spanish Influenza. Mr. Carlson was a native of this county, aged 47 years and spent most of his life at Tudor. Of late years he was resided at Sutter City where he has followed the carpenter trade, being also interested with his brothers in farming. He was a man of high character, genial and accommodating and will be sadly missed. Since his death which occurred last Thursday, his mother-in-law, Mrs. Christina Lytken, has died. He leaves the following children: Two sons, Wilfred and Byron Carlson, and four daughters, Lucille, Norma, Nydia and Enoma Carlson. Also two brothers, Charles and Thure Carlson, and one sister, Miss Josephine Carlson, all of this county.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon, Rev. Carroll officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery at that place."
