ALICE KATHRYN MOONEY TROWBRIDGE, 76, Valparaiso, formerly of Greencastle, died Monday at her home.
Born July 6, 1925 in Delphi, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Hirt Mooney.
She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and American Legion Auxiliary 430.
She married John Calvin Trowbridge in 1946. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David E. Trowbridge, Lake Station, Richard D. Trowbridge, Tucson, AZ, and John M. (Christi) Trowbridge, Portage; three daughters, Martha (Ed) Henderson, Valparaiso, Rita (Tom) Cantwell, Hobart and Alice (Mark) Dujmovich, Chesterton; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith L. Trowbridge Brandt.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Home, Hobart, with a 10 a.m. mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Burial will be in Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
