Reva Puffer Williams
April 17, 1929 - October 8, 2023 (age 94)

Our beloved mom, grandma, wife, sister, and friend, Reva Puffer Williams, age 94, of Beaver, Utah passed away on October 8, 2023, with her children lovingly by her side. Reva was born on April 17, 1929, in Beaver, Utah to Percy Adolf Puffer and Josie Alvira Hoopes. She was the 5th of 6 children. Her siblings were Marie, Rhoda, Bernice, Boyd, and June.

Reva grew up in the North Creek area of Beaver. She loved helping her dad on their farm, and was his little sidekick. She helped with the milk cows, hay, and chickens. Her family also sold apples and eggs. They had a nice little place where she preferred to be outside, instead of inside doing housework. At a young age, she learned to work hard, and that continued throughout her life.

She met her sweetheart, John Williams, at a young age and it was love at first sight. They were married when she was 17, on February 28, 1946. Their first home was in Minersville, Utah where they raised their children. They later moved to Beaver, Utah in 1987. Reva and John, were blessed with four children: Linda Kay, Marilyn, John Melvin, and Sharon Rae. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple, where they took their children to be sealed to them.

Reva was talented in many ways. She was gifted with the talent of singing and shared her talent and testimony often through song. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she held many callings throughout her life. One of her favorite callings was being a chorister in the Minersville, Utah and Beaver, Utah wards for over 40 years. A calling which she truly loved and cherished. One thing that she was proud of, was leading a choir group that was well known, and that people enjoyed listening to.

Reva held many jobs, one of which she cooked for meals on wheels for many years. She made many friends and showed so much affection to all she knew. Reva's kindness stretches far and wide. If you knew Reva, then you know she would pull you in for the biggest hug and kiss. She knitted many things for people, including: slippers, yarn dusters, and washcloths. She was also a very good homemaker and made yummy
food for the holidays. Reva's family loved gathering at her home. She had a lovely way about her, everyone loved Reva, and she loved everyone too.

Reva's pride and joy was her family. She supported and loved being involved in their lives. She often called her many grandchildren to sing happy birthday to them. She loved visiting with them and made everyone feel like they were her favorite. She also had many friends and acquaintances who loved her dearly and checked on her regularly. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her children, Linda Griffiths, Marilyn (Ralph) Walbeck, John Melvin Williams, all of Beaver, Utah and Sharon Hoskins of Sandy, Utah. She had 10 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 31 great great grandchildren, and 1 great great great grandchild. Reva was preceded in death by her sweetheart, John Williams, parents, father and mother-in-law, a son-in-law, a granddaughter, a great great
grandson, and her siblings.

Funeral services for Reva will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00am in the Beaver 1st/2nd Ward Church (15 N 100 W St, Beaver, Utah). Her viewing will be Friday, October 13, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Southern Utah Mortuary (195 N 200 W, Beaver, Utah) and prior to services on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Beaver 1st/2nd Ward Church from 9:00-10:30 am. We Love You Mom & Dad you were so gentle & so kind.
We Love You for the happiness you brought us all the time.
The patience you had for us that lingered like a song.
For faith in God you gave us to know that we will all belong.
But most of all because of the Love you gave us all the time.
