Connie Lee Price Stone
Connie Lee Price Stone passed away on June 23, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was the eldest child born to Harold Jesse and Margaret Cockrum Price in Montrose, Colorado on June 17, 1946. She attended school in Colorado and there she graduated beauty school.
Connie enjoyed scuba diving, collecting antique cars, and trips to the coast . In 1985 while living in Roseburg, she purchased the Pacific Scuba Center and after moving to Eugene, she became the bookkeeper for Commercial Dehydrator Systems, Inc.
Connie also enjoyed creating colored pencil drawings, especially of birds. For inspiration, she spent many hours looking out her picture window and watching the birds who came to feed on her many birdfeeders.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaugher, Meagan. She is survived by her husband David, of whom she was married for over 4 decades and her children Angela Humbert and Mark (Jill) Sibbald. Connie had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren Gregory, Samantha, Heather and Kayla and great-granddaugher Sophie. She is also survived by her beloved siblings, Camilla Hammer (Terry) and Kevin Price (Shari) and her nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on July 22 at Spencer Creek Lutheran Church. Donations in Connie's memory can be made to The American Cancer Society.
