Catharina Klein and George Wideman were married in Egremont Township, Grey County, Ontario on April 17, 1883. During that same year, her parents and several of her siblings relocated to build new lives in Michigan while Catherina and George remained in Ontario to live and raise their family. In 1920, George passed away at the age of 62 due to injuries from a fall. As a result, Catherine was a widow for 27 years and it appears she lived alone during much of this time. On the 1931 census, she is living alone in a small brick home with three rooms in Hanover. She passed away at age 91 from what appears to be a stroke.
