James Cleveland "JC" Fogle, 82, of Anderson, passed away on September 24, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 19, 1941, in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He lived most of his life in Atlanta, Georgia, moving to Indiana to be close to family.

JC proudly served his country in the Army stationed in Alaska. He retired as a semi-tractor driver for Premier Trucking Company, where he was known as "Little Joe" or "Waffle House Kid". He loved camping with his family, fishing, smoking his pipe, and drinking coffee. He was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, serving as a faithful volunteer for the Food Pantry.

JC is survived by his loving spouse of 57 years, Betty Jean Fogle; children, J. Lamar (Lynn) Fogle and R. Fay Fogle; grandchildren, William C. (Elena) Fogle, Shay (Arthur) Milhouse, Lindsey (Will) Fogle, Lexi (Shawn) Fogle; great-grandchildren, Shaylee, Akira, Azariah, Arthur, Karson, and Joey; siblings, Dorothy (Richard) Thomas, Charles Fogle, and Jean (Mel) Johnson, bonus kids, Teresa (Bill) Ridgeway and Vernon (Doris) Scott; numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, special friends, Dale and Bobby.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Edith Irene Fogle; siblings, Tommy Lee Fogle, Robert Fogle, and Carol (Jack) Schwantes.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 2, 2023, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Sam Young and Rev. Steve DeFields-Gambrel officiating.
