long-time resident of Elyria,
died last week in Tampa
Fla., following a long illness.
Born in Austria-Hungary,
she lived in Elyria most of
her life. For the last several
years, Mrs. Barkacs lived
with a daughter in Tampa.
Sne was a life-long member
of tne Magyar Reformed
Church, Elyria.
She was preceded in death
bv her husband, John, and
sons Louis and Alfred.
Surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Charles (Julia) Shimkus>
Tampa; sons, Jerry,
and John- Amherst; 11 grandchildren
and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Mrs. Barkacs was cremated
in Florida and buried in
Ridgelawn Cemetery.
