Peacefully with his children by his side, we announce the passing of our beloved dad, grandpa, brother and uncle, Wilfred Clifford Clarence Desjarlais, at the age of 78 years.

Clarence was predeceased by his loving wife, Simone; grandsons, Neil and Madden; brothers, Joe and Bobby; son in-law, Lorne; and many family members and friends.

Dad will be greatly missed by his 11 children and their families.

Dad was a hero to all his children and loved dearly by all who knew him. Dad worked hard for his family his whole life and never wanted for anything but the safety and love of his children. Dad was a prankster and jokester and loved to scare everybody and laugh. Dad had many stories and shared them more that once with everybody who would listen.

Dad was an avid hunter and looked forward to hunting every year. Dad taught all the girls to dance, drive and have fun. He taught the boys to work hard and could build a house from the basement up. All 11 children were brought up to respect our elders and each other. Dad left his legacy by all the memories and stories he told.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Lundar Personal Care Home and E.M Crowe Hospital for their care, compassion, professionalism and love shown to dad throughout all the years. Also for putting up with all of our big family. Your kindness and support were greatly appreciated.

At dad's request, a private family gathering has taken place.
