Gone To His Reward

George W. Adams, well known resident of this place for the past twelve years, died at the sanitarium, to which he was taken about a month ago for treatment, on Thursday of last week following an illness of short duration, bronchial pneumonia being the contributing that brought about his death. He had been in failing health for the past three years or so and for the past several month had been suffering from a nervous breakdown and was taken away for treatment when pneumonia set in. His physical condition being poor he was unable to with stand the ravages of the disease and death resulted.

Mr. Adams came to Bainville about twelve years ago and during his residence here has been closely identified with the business affairs of the city council, and was a very contributing factor in the up-building of the town. He was a member of the local lodge of Odd Fellows and was always a willing and tireless worker in the interests of the order.

The body reached here Monday morning and, the funeral services were held that afternoon at the Congregational church, the local Odd Fellows attending in a body, and the remains conveyed to their last resting place in Fairview Cemetery east of town.
