Bruce had been married five times with the most recent being to Carol Diane McKeena, married December 28, 2002 in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Daughter of Robert McKeena and Esther Jones.

Other wives names, no particular order; Clara Keene, Susan Bolls, Shirley Lowery and Elizabeth Foster.

Mr. Bruce Leroy Boice, 84 of Milan, Michigan passed away Saturday in his home with his loving wife by his side after a six-year journey with cancer. Born in Bowling Green, OH. on September 10th, 1939 to Walter LeRoy Boice and Ivanelle Allgire. Mr. Boice was part of the first graduating class of Pioneer H.S. in 1957 and was the Owner/Operator of Boice Gradall, LLC from 1972 to 2015. Bruce spent most of his career in the construction industry digging ditches and grading land with the majority of the time behind the wheel of a Gradall.

Bruce is survived by his Wife, Carol VanValkenburg-Boice, her children Bradley VanValkenburg and Amy (Tim Cheadle) VanValkenburg Moceri with another noted relationship with Robert Dieter of Tecumseh, MI. Granddaughters Lauren and Megan VanValkenburg. Sister Phyllis Dicks of Panama City, Florida and several Nieces and Nephews.
Bruce was a member of the National Street Rod Association and restored multiple classic cars over the years. Closest to Bruce's heart was his '61 Corvette. Mr. Boice was an avid reader and enjoyed David Baldacci and Clive Cussler books.

Bruce was preceded in death by both his parents Walter and Ivanelle and also his sister, Gwen (Boice) Blackmer of Ypsilanti.

Visitation hours will be held at Ochalek Stark in Milan at 218 E. Main St. on Wednesday from 4-7pm. Memorial Service 3pm on Thursday, October 12th with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Patient Access Network (PAN Foundation) OR Arbor Hospice in Bruce's name.
