Honey Bend Child Dies At Hospital
Dorothy Kathryn, age nine years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kean, of the Honey Bend community, died at St. Francis hospital, Wednesday night at 11:55 o'clock following a short illness.
The little girl became ill from intestinal influenza, six weeks ago. For a time she improved, but last Friday suffered a relapse and was brought to the local hospital, where Tuesday she underwent an operation.
Besides mother and father, a half brother, George Walter Kean, survives together with her grandfather, George Neldon, of North Litchfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Baptist church in Honey Bend. Burial will be made in the Cedar Ridge cemetery
The body will be left at the home of an aunt, Mrs. J. S. Buzick, 802 East Columbia street until the hour of the funeral.

Litchfield, Oct. 15-Dorothy Neldon, 9-year-old daughter of Mrs. Frank Kean of Honey Bend, died at St. Francis hospital here this morning. Decedent is survived by her mother, stepfather, and a half brother, George Kean.
Funeral services will be held at the Honey Bend Baptist church at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon and interment will be made in Cedar Ridge cemetery.
