Funeral Services for J. L. Blackwood, 65, of Drayton who was found dead in his bed yesterday morning, will be held at 2:30 0'clock this afternoon at the Piedmont Baptist Church, the Rev. Mr. Godfrey officiating. Internment will be made in the churchyard. About 1 o'clock Friday morning Mrs. Blackwood got up and got her husband a drink of water. When she arise about 4 o'clock, she discovered that he was dead. The deceased id survived by his widow, Mrs. Mattie Blackwood, one son, G.F. Blackwood, of Cowpens, and a daughter, Mrs. Marie Pearson of Cherokee Springs, R.F.D. 2.
