Mary Louise Hudgins, 77, of Richmond, passed away January 6, 2006. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Hendrick; and a sister, Alice Hudgins. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Charles A. Hudgins Sr.; a son, Chuck Hudgins and his wife, Sherry; a daughter, Teresa Burton and her husband, Rick; two brothers, Jerry and Ernest Hendrick; a sister, Evelyn Mayo; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., and Monday, January 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with a Christian Wake service at 7 p.m. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Ashland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
