Graveside funeral services for Rudolph Philip Griffin, Jr., of Winona, are
scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, at Bethlehem Methodist
Cemetery near Kilmcihael, with burial following immediately. Rev. Clayton
Crouch will officiate the service.

Mr. Griffin died of pneumonia on Sunday, April 13, at Tyler Holmes Memorial
Hospital in Winona. He was 88.

Mr. Griffin was the son of the late Rudolph Philip Griffin and the late Birdie
Shelton Griffin. He was the retired owner of Rudolph's Place Cafe and a
member of Shiloh Baptist Church near Duck Hill, the VFW, and the American
Legion. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a U.S. Navy Veteran of World
War II. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Vowel Griffin.

Survivors include his wife, Lona Mae Griffin of Winona; son, Thomas Greg
Griffin of Cleveland; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
