Mr. Noel started Noel's Electric and Battery Co. in North Adams in 1921 and changed the name to Noel Inc. in 1934. He retired in 1967 and the store is now operated as Christie & Thompson Inc.

Survived by two sons; three daughters; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Burial Bellevue Cemetery, Adams, Massachusetts.
