"Vera L. Sweigart, 76, of Reinholds, entered into rest on Monday, September 17, 2007 at the home of her son. Born in Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late Harvey E. and Emma Mae (Felker) Fasnacht. Vera's husband, Clarence M. Sweigart, died May 17, 2004. She retired from Hemmerich Ind., Denver, was a member of Wiest Memorial U.M. Church, Schoeneck, and enjoyed spending time with her family, caring for her grandchildren, cooking, family trips to their cabin in Snyder County, picnics and the beach.
Surviving are 8 children, Calvin M. (Susan R. Gaumer), Christine M. (John M.) Anderson, Carl M. (Vicki L. Garner), Clair M. (Sandra F. Grumbine), with whom she had lived, and Cynthia M. (Daniel R.) Grube, all of Denver, Cathleen M. (Jeffrey A.) Bauder, Lititz, Connie M. (Jeffrey W.) Fritz, and Cheryl M. (Michael G.) Liebl, both of Ephrata; 23 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. Vera was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn M., wife of Richard B. Witmer, Jr., brothers, Elmer, Arthur, Walter, Richard and Harvey Fasnacht Jr., and sisters, Edith Fasnacht and Erla Rettew.
The Funeral will be on Friday at 11:00 AM, Viewing 10-11 AM, in the Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver. Interment in Fairview Cemetery Annex, Denver. Those desiring may make memorial contributions in Vera's memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17603."
