Robin Huggins

Robin John Huggins, 56, Springfield, VA, died at his residence.

Mr. Huggins was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Kansas City, MO.

Robin received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas University and his Master's degree from American University in Washington, DC. He was a professor of speech and dramatic arts at Prince George's College in Maryland. Mr. Huggins served in the U.S. Army at both the Pentagon and in Germany.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Huggins, in 2000.

He is survived by his mother, Peggy Huggins of Olathe; three uncles, Ted Huggins of Shawnee, KS, Floyd Huggins of Leawood, KS, and Larry Huggins of Kearney, MO; three aunts, Vivian Jurgens of Olathe, Peggy Young of Paola, and Shirley Sanders of Pensacola, FL; and many cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Olathe.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at W.L. Frye and Son Chapel, 105 E. Loula, Olathe. Grave side services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.
