He was born to J. Monda and Emma (Coil) Rickard. On May 27, 1950, he married Ruth Ann Emans, who preceded her in death.
Survivors are three sons, Timothy (Mary) and Bruce, all Mendon, and David, Lima; two daughters, Donna J. Jones, Celina, and Lori Slone, St. Marys; a sister, Rebecca Louise (Leonard) Koehn, Sanford, TX; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, James Junior Rickard.
He retired from the molding department at former New Idea/Textron, Coldwater.
Memorial services are at Mendon First Church of God, the Rev. Dean Bruce officiating.
