Tommie Lee Hill, 85, of Conroe, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008, in Conroe, Texas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Cashner Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Mark Grimes officiating. Interment will follow with a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Waco Memorial Park in Waco. Visitation is scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Cashner Funeral Home.

Tommie was born in Polk County, Texas. He served his country in the U. S. Army for four years, and for 20 years in the U. S. Air Force and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the military as a Tech Sergeant.

Tommie is survived by his daughters, Carol Kelley and husband, George, of Ben Wheeler, and Gladys Marie Flewellen and husband, Phillip, of Winterport, Maine; sons, David Hill, of Conroe, and Thomas Hill, of Waco; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.
