Earl spent a lifetime in the field of interior design. Earl's creativity, sense of style and use of color were his trademark. Earl served as general manager of Contemporary Interiors/Ethan Allen where he was employed for 28 years. While living in Monroe, he worked as an interior designer for 25 years at Floral City Furniture Company, Home of the Lazy Boy Chair. Earl also served as an advisor to the Design Department at Monroe County Community College.
Earl will be missed by all, his sense of humor served as an inspiration for all of us to enjoy life. Earl is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly (Larrow) Ducharme, daughter, Joan, daughter in law, Anne (Muehleise) Ducharme, grandchildren, John and Michael, great grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander and Samantha Grace Beverly. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sylvania, Ohio at 10 a.m. on April 7, 2006, to celebrate Earl's life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Heartland Hospice.
The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ansberg-West Funeral Directors, 419-472-7633.
