Funeral services for Willard Ivan Real Sr., 69, of Douglas, were held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday Sept. 29, 1981 at the First Methodist Church in Douglas with Rev. Harry Randall III officiating. The Odd Fellows Lodge conducted the graveside committal service in Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Mr. Real died Saturday morning at Converse County Memorial Hospital after being hospitalized for several weeks. He was born June 20, 1912 at Oconto, Nebraska the son of Ivory and Harriet McCullough Real. They moved from Nebraska to Wyoming in 1935 and lived in the Riverton area before moving to Douglas in 1978.
Mr. Real was a member of the Odd Fellows and Eagles Lodges in Riverton.
He is survived by his wife Eva and son Willard Jr., both of Douglas and two daughters, Mrs. Leona Wilson and Mrs. Thelma Blumenshine, both of Riverton; four brothers, Charles of Weizer, Idaho, Carl of Bellingham, Washington, Melvin of Shelton, Nebraska, Harley of Sidney, Nebraska; three sisters, Helen Lowell of Shelton, Nebraska; Esther Newman of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Zella Newman of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
