Herbert "Herb" Cashdollar, 93, of Delanson, NY, passed away at St Peter's Hospital on Thursday September 28, 2023 with family by his side. He was born January 30, 1930 in Saugerties, NY. He was a beloved father to Thomas Cashdollar (Emilie) of Delanson, to James Wier (Anne) of Cohoes and a brother to Grace (Peggy) Duncan of Westerlo. He was also survived by six Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Louise, his daughters Edith Dudek and Carol Cashdollar, his son Kenneth Weir, and his brother Albert (Bub).

Herb attended Greenville Central School. Following his education, he proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his time in the Army, Herb worked part time at Wilber's general store for ten years while pursuing a career as a welder at General Electric. His dedication and expertise in his field were greatly admired by his colleagues.

In his free time, Herb enjoyed rooting for the NY Giants, Mets, and Yankees. He was a passionate sports fan and loved cheering for his favorite teams. Herb also took great pleasure in watching his grandchildren participate in sports, their accomplishments filling him with pride.
