Ampmeko Zyquan Trammell, 19, of Lanett, Alabama, affectionally known as "Meko," passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023. He was born on July 29, 2004 in Lanett, Alabama, the eldest son to his mother, Megail Trammell, and father, Anthony Whitlow, where he lived as a resident. Ampmeko was a beautiful soul, a caring and respectable young man.

Ampmeko was reared in Roanoke, Alabama where he made friends with his peers when he attended Knight Enloe Elementary School and later Handley Middle School. His family later moved to Lanett, Alabama, where he attended Lanett Middle School. He completed his studies at Lanett High School and graduated with the Lanett High School class of 2022. While in High School, he was on the Lanett "Panthers" football team; and was also a baseball player. Despite his athletic achievements, Ampmeko remained humble.

Ampmeko was an all-around great young man, his parents never had any problems with him. Ampmeko was a sociable young man and he and his friends would spend quality time together. He was jovial with all his family and friends. He was vibrant and colorful. His favorite colors were red and blue. Meko loved living his life to the fullest. Meko had many passions, he loved Church's Chicken and Yianni's in The Valley. His "dream car" was the Scat Pack Charger. He was a very responsible young man being employed. Ampmeko greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his grandparents. He and his family were members of Rehope Baptist Church, where he was baptized under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. H. L. Jones.

Ampmeko leaves a flood of very precious memories to be shared with his mother; father; siblings; grandparents; and a host of friends and family along with the Lanett High School Class Of 2022.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Rehope Missionary Baptist Church, 5267 County Road 258, LaFayette, Alabama 36862. Interment followed in the Rehope Baptist Church Cemetery, 5267 County Road 258, LaFayette, Alabama 36862.
