Estelle Willis Redden, age 92, of Nebo, passed away on September 29, 2023 in McDowell Hospital.

A native of Bakersville, NC she was the daughter of the late Richmond and Lydia Greene Willis.

In addition to her parents, Estelle was preceded in death by her siblings, Velice, Pansy, Arthur, Woodrow, Mack, and E.L.

Estelle loved her family which meant the world to her. She also loved her cats and enjoyed her flowers. Before her retirement, Estelle work as a Nursing Assistant for Spruce Pine Community Hospital. She was a member of the Dysartsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, John Redden of Nebo; children: Douglas Redden (Daphane) of Westminster, SC, Regina Paschall (Mark) of Nebo, and Tommy Redden (Carolyn) of Bakersville; grandchildren: Ashley Ray (Coleman) and Tammy Putman (Phillip); great grandchildren: Lilly Ray, Lukas Ray, Payton Ray, Jordan Putman and fiancé Mya, and Abby Putman and fiancée Jacob Whitson; great great grandchildren Oakland Putman and Tatum Whitson and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 in the Lily Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Cope officiating. Everyone is invited to attend.
