J.A. Wofford and Eula Griffin married August 30, 1894, Etowah County, Alabama, marriage book "E", page 109. Jimmy was born Sept. 20, 1862, GA and died Dec. 24, 1928 in Oklahoma. Jimmy's family moved in 1898 from Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama to the Indian Territory into the Akins community. Later they settled in Hanson. Children of Jimmy and Eula: Erma; Elihu "Eli" (spelled Lyhue on a marker); Tatum Lafayette; Matthew Dowd; Jimmy; Dorothy Eula; and Nannie.
Jimmy was a farmer, store owner and Commissioner. After Eula's death, Jimmy married Margaret Gardner.
