Mary Lou Lasher, 77, of Huntingburg formerly of Fulda passed away Thursday September 28, 2023 at Scenic Hills at the Monastery in Ferdinand. Mary Lou was born on December 27, 1945 in St. Meinrad to John and Mary (Bumm) Hoffman.

She was united in marriage to Larry Lasher on April 29, 1967 in St. Meinrad Catholic Church. Larry preceded her in death on October 30, 2017.

Mary Lou was the owner and operator of the Window Box Flower Shop in Huntingburg, and was a retired Postal Carrier. She enjoyed her dogs, horses, flowers, gardening and playing cards.

Surviving are one daughter, Sonia (Jeff) Lasher-Trapp of Urbana, IL. Two sons, Clint (Holly) Lasher of Plainfield, IL. and Casey (Jill) Lasher of Evanston, IN. Six grandchildren, Noah and Nadine Trapp, Margaret, Oliver, Cora, and Joseph Lasher. One brother, Allen Hoffman of Alaska.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Dennis, Edwin, Norman, John, and Raymond Hoffman. Six sisters, Barbara Feldpausch, Anna Grooms, Loretta Hoffman, Elsie Morgan, Virginia Fritz, and Alberta Schultheis.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday October 13th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial Saint Isidore Catholic Cemetery.
