Mrs. Driver passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Traylor's Retirement Center.
Survivors include: two daughters, Doris Danford of Moultrie, GA, and Teresa Barfield (David) of Roanoke; three sons, Larry Driver (Michelle) of Roanoke, William "Billy" Driver of Roanoke, and Gary Driver of Wadley; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Debra Hurley of Roanoke; and one brother, Frank Hurley of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Jody Driver, D. J. Barfield, Luke Driver and Chris Driver.
A Wedowee native, Mrs. Driver was born on September 14, 1932, the daughter of Pierce Dean and Verna Brown Hurley. She was a founding member of Welcome Home Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Driver was preceded in death her parents; her husband, Edward Driver; two children, Terry Lee Driver and Tammy Lynn Driver; and two sisters, Betty Williams and Rebecca Kirby.
