Inez R. Barnes

JEFFERSON - Inez R. (Schuld) Barnes passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at her home.

She was born on March 3, 1934, in the town of Farmington, daughter of the late Linus and Adeline (Hattie) Schuld. She married David Barnes Nov. 18, 1950, in the rectory at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She was always willing to help everyone and had worked at Lavasser's 5 & 10, Barney's Drive Inn, Shirley Ann's Closet and F & M Bank until her retirement in 1997.

She was a teacher and a mother of many others. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, David Barnes of Jefferson; her children, Michael (Susan) Barnes of Tomahawk, Gwendolyn Mulks of West Jordan, Utah, Rae Jean (James) Dunning-ton of Jefferson, Bradley (Vicki) Barnes of Jefferson and Dawn (James) Swan of Pardeeville; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lyle (Margie) Schuld of Jefferson.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Merlin Schuld, Lester Schuld and Eugene Schuld; and a sister, Eileen Schuld.

Her celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Comstock officiating. Private family interment will be in Carillon Tower at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson at a later date.
