ONTARIO - Tommy W. Tucker, 46, Ontario, died Sept. 21, 1992, in a Seattle, Wash. hospital from complications caused by leukemia. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center at 1705 N.W. 4th Ave., Ontario, with Bishop Kenneth Romans conducting. Military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5452, Ontario, will be at Valley View Cemetery, Vale, under the direction of Ontario's Lienkaemper Chapel.

He was born Oct. 21, 1945, in Ontario, the son of Marion and Marie Walsh Tucker. He was raised and educated at Vale and graduated from Vale High School in 1963. He entered the United States Navy in 1966. He married GAIL SANDERS April 25, 1966, in Parma. Tom served during the Vietnam conflict and after his discharge in 1969 they returned to Vale. They lived in Caldwell from 1972 to 1979, when they moved to Ontario where he was a general contractor. They have resided in Ontario since.

He loved to fish and hunt and being with his friends. We will miss you Tom. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5452, Ontario.

Survivors include his wife Gail Tucker of Ontario; his mother, Marie Tucker of Ontario; two daughters, Tammy and Becky Tucker, both of Ontario; five brothers, Gary Tucker of Twin Falls, James Tucker and Marion Tucker Jr., both of Salem, and Ron and Guy Still, both of Portland, and four sisters, Laura Braniff of Pendleton, Linda Holton and Janice Zellar, both of Portland, and Carol Humes of Ocean Beach, Calif. He was preceded in death by his father, Marion and a sister, Barbara Frederici.
