BOWDOIN - Carl Howard Hanscom, Jr., age 71, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2018. Carl was born in Machias, Maine on May 17, 1947 to Carl and Euna Hanscom. He is survived by his wife Joann. Carl had three children, Dan, Mark and Jennifer; two daughters-in law; and nine grandchildren. Carl served his country in the Navy honorably for 23 years and also worked for the Brunswick School Department for 24 years. Carl was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved fishing on his boat and cruising in his '53 Mercury with his wife. Services for Carl will be held in the spring.
