SHERRY, JOSEPH A., 82, Ebensburg, passed away September 27, 2023, at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born September 4, 1941, in Barr Twp., the son of Arthur and Vera (Folmar) Sherry. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Victor and Kenneth Sherry, and sisters, Ruth Ann Makosy and Louise Nelson. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, June (Mothersbaugh) Sherry; and daughter, Brenda Sherry. Brother of Richard (Maria) Sherry, Ohio; Ralph (Marilyn) Sherry, Northern Cambria; Susan (late Kenneth) Constant, TN; Sharon (Gerald) Sherry, Northern Cambria; Theodore Sherry, North Carolina; and Anna Marie Parmelle, TN. Also numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Retired General Motors auto worker. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Family and friends will be received 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 2, at St. Nicholas Church, Nicktown. Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD, celebrant. Committal St. Nicholas Cemetery. Military honors by local veteran's organizations.
