"FORT GRATIOT TOWNSHIP - Geraldine M. "Geri" Clark, 60, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1988, in Mesa, Ariz., after a short illness.
"She was born Feb. 9, 1928, in Battle Creek, and lived in Fort Gratiot Township for 25 years. She married Robert J. Clark May 24, 1952, in Battle Creek.
"Mrs. Clark was a member of Willow Ridge Golf Club. she had retired from the Port Huron Area School District.
"She is survived by her husband; sons and daughter-in-law, Dorne J. and Connie of Grand Rapids, Michael R. and Debra and Kent A. and Mickie, all of Port Huron, and Brian C. and Kelly of Fort Wayne, Ind.; her mother, Sadie Benedict, and stepfather, Virgil Benedict, both of Battle Creek; and three granddaughters.
"Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home-North Chapel, Port Huron. The Rev. Dr. Richard D. Lobb of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
"Visiting is from 6-9 today and 2-4 and 7-0 p.m. Wednesday.
"Mrs. Clark's sons will be pall-bearers.
"Memorials may be made to the Michigan Heart Association."
