Margie was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved her church family, her friends, and her family.
Margie retired after a long career with Southwestern Bell where she started as an operator and then worked in an office where she no longer had to connect calls with chords and say, ''Number Please.''
She loved traveling with friends and family, making candles, playing games and holiday cooking. Margie had a wonderful sense of humor even in her last days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bessie Tacker, brothers Tod and DD Tacker, grandson Jeff Meredith, her first husband, Bill Grant, and second husband Wendell Warner.
She is survived by her daughter, Kaye Chrisco, sons, Buddy (Susan) Warner, and Stan (Crystal) Warner, grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Meredith, Kristin (Lee) Catt, Chad Warner, Eric Warner, Tyler Carter, and Brandie Cater, 9 great grandchildren, and her lifelong best friend and sister, Lula Dunavant.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Lasting memorials can be made to St. Jude Hospital, Calvary Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.
Services for Mrs. Warner will be held on October 2, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1600 N Avalon, West Memphis, Arkansas, 72301. Visitation will begin at 10 AM with the funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Burial will take place at Crittenden Memorial Park, in Marion, Arkansas.
