Dorothy Irene Kohring died quietly at her daughter's home Dec. 15, 2022, on her 98th birthday.
Born 1924, in Vancouver, Canada, Dorothy married Henry, her Navy sweetheart, and moved to the Portland area to raise a family. Primarily a homemaker, Dorothy helped Henry with his business, and worked briefly at Jantzen's, and Lipman's. She loved working in her garden, time with her family, dancing and outings with the Crazy8's and RV8er's. She traveled to six continents during her lifetime.
Dorothy is survived by three children; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A private memorial is planned. Please direct any donations to the "Bluefield Project."
