Anna Mae Anderson was born in St. Paul, grew up and attended school in Albert Lea, MN. She married Arthur Erickson on May 25, 1947 at East Freeborn Lutheran Church in rural Albert Lea. They lived the first 10 years of their marriage near Chester, Iowa, before moving to a farm in Blooming Prairie Township. They moved into the city of Blooming Prairie in 1990. Mrs. Erickson was a member of First Lutheran Church, and was active in its WELCA. She also volunteered for the Eagles Women Auxiliary. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, dining out, and shopping.
She was preceeded in death by five sisters and a brother.
