Edward John Mueller, 71, lifelong resident of Texas County, passed away Sunday morning, December 18, 2022 at his home, North of Guymon.

The son of John and Cordelia (Blaske) Mueller, he was born August 17, 1951 in Guymon. Edward attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1969. He was an active member and past president of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a lifetime member of the FFA, a member of the Oklahoma FFA Foundation, and president of the Texas County Stock Show Board.

He was united in marriage to Teresa Kathryn Reid at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church on June 16, 1973.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa of the home; four children: Leigh and Joe Mike Lindsay of Guymon, Nicholas Mueller and David Smith of Portsmouth, Virginia, Nathan Mueller and Ron Krisman, of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Stefan and Mallorie Mueller of Guymon. Nine grandchildren include: Kaysha Lindsay, Kirsten Rodriguez, Katie Jo Lindsay, Joseph Lindsay II, Jack Lindsay, Clayton Mueller, Audie Mueller, Lucie Krisman and Claire Krisman. Great grandchildren include Emersyn, Orren, Lois, Josephine, Ayden, Noah, and Lucas. Survivors also include Geraldine Snapp of Coldspring, TX, Marilyn Dalrymple of Amarillo, TX, Arnold Bartels of Blanchard, OK, and Norman Bartels of Los Angeles, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Edward's passion for life was agriculture. Edward owned Mueller Feed Store for 12 years in Guymon where he met many people and enjoyed long-lasting friendships. He founded and promoted the Guymon Merchants' Fund supporting the youth of the community as well as Texas County. He took pride in farming, ranching, and watching things grow. He was creative in the way he approached any challenge in farming and in life. He was deeply loved by his wife of nearly 50 years, his children, grands, and greats. He was thankful for all his family and the many friends he shared his life with on this earth.
