Virginia Mae "Gina" Haney, 53, died Sunday (Oct. 15, 2000) at Halstead Hospital.

She was born Aug. 15, 1947, to Jacob "Jack" and Donna Mae (Cross) Dillmann in Bismark, N.D. They preceded her in death. She married Robert Haney May 17, 1968, in Pierre, S.D. He survives.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Newton, the Wal-Mart bowling team at Play-Mor Lanes, the KOPS support group and numerous cancer support groups, including Victory in the Valley.

Other survivors include: two sons, Dave Haney of Denver and Dennis Haney of Thornton, Colo.; four brothers, Stanley J. Dillmann and William Dillmann, both of Mandan, N.D., James Dillmann of Loveland, Colo., and Gerald Dillmann of Fort Collins, Colo.; a stepfather, Dale Gullickson of Mandan, N.D.; and three sisters, Joyce Schmidt of Mandan, N.D., Kandi Froelich of Tomball, Texas, and Lori Edsel of Loveland, Colo.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 7 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Keating of First United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Ascention Mausoleum in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
