Betty Doris Lanham Boblitt, age 77, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 9:06 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023 at her home.
A native of Washington County, she was born on March 11, 1946 to the late Arthur Leo and Mary Belle Wigginton Lanham.
She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Alivia Brooke Boblitt on May 28, 2011; three sisters, Pearlie Mae Spalding, Sarah Jean Shewmaker and Patricia Ann "Patsy" Milburn and five brothers, Ronald W., William Leo, Bobby, Jackie B. and Kenneth Ray Lanham.
She leaves her husband, Roy Lee Boblitt; three sons, Roy Lee Boblitt, Jr. (Sherry) of Willisburg, Gary Boblitt (Lori) of Bloomfield and Johnny Boblitt of Willisburg; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Mattingly (David) of Bloomfield and three brothers, Jerry Lanham and James Richard Lanham both of Mt. Washington and Donnie Lanham of Clarksville, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Lee Ann Lewis, Eric Boblitt, Christy Boblitt, Kayla Boblitt, Elizabeth Coffey, Aliana Boblitt, Jessie Severns, Krista Murphy and Jenna Settles.
Serving as casket bearers will be Eric Boblitt, Dallas Lewis, Keith Chesser, Aiden Boblitt, Michael Harley and Steven Peters.
