She was born October 19, 1940 on a farm near Edgewood, Iowa. The daughter of Harold and Lucille (Ries) Keppler.
Patricia graduated from Lamont High School in 1958. She then went on to Gates Business School in Waterloo and graduated in 1960.
On September 15, 1962 Patricia was united in marriage to Robert Schoulte at St. Mary Catholic Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa and recently celebrated sixty-one years of marriage togehter. They were blessed with five children.
They farmed together for many years. Patricia enjoyed gardening vegetables and flowers, loved the Clayton County Fair and taking exhibits to the fair.
She was a wonderful quilter, excellent baker and loved making homemade pies and bread.
She loved the outdoors and especially mushroom hunting.
She was a member of the red hat ladies and secret sisters/Catholic Daughters. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Monona.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Lucille Keppler and her grandson, Tyson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa and also one hour before Mass at the church on Thursday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Monona, Iowa with Rev. Martin Coolidge officiating.
Interment will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Garnavillo, Iowa.
