ASHBURN: Wade H Jackson, 83, of Two-Amboy community died Saturday June 1, 1991 in Tifton after a long illness. Born in Coweta County, he had lived in Turner County for most of his life and was the son of Leonard Harvey Jackson and Minnie Celestia Yarbrough Nix. He was a member and deacon of Amboy Baptist Church in Ashburn and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; Thelma Louise Ambrose Nix of Ashburn., son C L Jackson of TIfton, sisters: Mrs. Clyde Hyde and Mrs. Annie Lee Luke of Fitzgerald, Annie Ora Dixon of Ocilla, Celestia Fuller and Mrs. Maurice Roberson of Macon, and Margaret Dawson of Covington.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. June 3, 1991 in Amboy Baptist Church in Ashburn. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashburn. Perry Funeral Chapel of Ashburn was in charge of arrangements.
