Betty Lela Turner was born on August 29, 1937 in Laurel County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Arthur and Elsie Baker. She was united in marriage on October 22, 1954 to James Turner who preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Randy Turner of Hastings, Florida and James Turner of Powell, Tennessee; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. She is also preceded in death by a son, Theodore "Ted" Turner.
Betty was a beautician and a homemaker. She was of the Baptist Faith.
